Celtophilia Week of Voltaire - Intro

Welcome back, we're glad you're here!

Alright Celtophiles, it’s time for an admission. Bonnie and I actually have all manner of sordid musical tastes, and one of our very favorite musical miscreants is an evil, dark, rather twisted guy out of NYC called Voltaire. For quite a while now, we’ve been looking for any excuse to put some of his music on the site, and we settled on Halloween as probably the best excuse we’ll ever get. So, we got all zombified (yes, that’s us up there), dug up the best Voltaire videos we could find, and dubbed the entire week leading up to Halloween the “Celtophilia Week of Voltaire.”

Voltiare is truly a Renaissance man in the traditional sense of the term. He’s had his hands in music, comic books, toys, TV Ads, stop-motion animation, books, and even finds time to teach at The School of Visual Arts, in NYC, according to his bio. You can find out a ton more about all his projects at his website www.voltaire.net

To help lead us into this week of spookiness, what are YOUR favorite Halloween tunes?

Ken - She moved through the fair always gives me the shivers when it’s performed really well, so I am with you on that one. It’s quite spooky.
