Video - Banshee - The Diamond

Welcome back, we're glad you're here!

Banshee is a Celtic band out of Krakow, Poland. Their version of the trad song The Diamond absolutely rocks. I especially love the last verse that’s performed partially a capella - and in Polish. I dare you to listen!

I want to be in that pub, it looks like everyone is having a ball.

    I took that dare!!

Great stuff. We have a huge and wonderful influx of Polish People here in Ireland and they are just like Irish People with a slightly different accent. great to see them take on the songs. Enjoyed it.

Ken - glad you enjoyed the video!

I’ve been poking around your blog, I like it! I laughed out loud at the Anatomically Correct post, now I’m working my way through the archives.

I’m sending Mike to read Flat Head Fishing - I’m sure that he can sympathize, considering the peculiar way he landed the mullet you can see him holding in our vacation pics.

    Slainte,

See- isn’t the Irish/Celtic folk scene alive and kicking over here in ‘central Europe’! Mike landed a mullet?! Did you know our didge player, Dick, collects photos of mullets? Not the fish kind, though. The haircuts. You know the sort, short at the front, long at the back. All the best,Jeremy and Poitin
