The Celtophilia Forums Are Now Open

Welcome back, we're glad you're here!

Announcing the Celtophilia Forums

Are you looking for a place to talk to like-minded people about Celtic music? Do you have knowledge that absolutely must be shared with the world and need an outlet? Well, look no further. As an added service to help you find all the info you could possibly want about Celtic bands, shows, and the music in general, Celtophilia has decided to add forums to our site.

Obviously, this is pretty much day one. When you head over to www.celtophilia.com/forums, you’re going to find that it’s fairly empty right now. That’s because we need YOUR support. Help us to grow the Celtic music community. Is your favorite band (or your OWN band) playing down the street, and you want to help drum up support? Post it in our show listings. See a listing that is near you? GO SEE THE BAND. Found a great CD that you think every fan of Celtic music should hear? Tell us about it. I promise we would love to know.

So, follow the link above, or hit that snazzy button up in the nav bar that says “Forums” and register. If you’re in a kilt, though, watch out for Bonnie. She held me at knife point… okay, it was a butter knife…. okay, it was a pointy stick… okay, it wasn’t pointy. Anyway, she made me officially title her Chief Kilt Inspector. So, if you see her coming at you, run, or don’t, according to your own preference I guess. But whatever you do, take a look around, and let us know what you think of the place. There are probably some things that need to be added, and possibly some things that need to go away. Like I said, this is a new project.

Slainte,
Mike

Hm… another forum huh? What drama can be had about Celtic music?

  2. Mike Says:

:) Fragile, I’m not sure yet, but if we lure the right people in, I’ll be we can create some.

lol true… we’re creative enough. Loving the shamrocks btw.

Thanks! I’m quite pleased with them. I piggybacked Turnip of Power’s code and files, and just drew the shamrocks in the place of his Entrecard symbols. Pretty easy if you have the software for it.
